We’re sure your neighborhood or somewhere near you is surrounded with beautiful Christmas lights. Grab a leash and your dogs favorite toy and enjoy looking at the the Christmas lights and the fun lawn decor.
Christmas time is a great time to visit with old friends and socialize with your dog in tow. You also probably need to do some shopping or get your tree. There is most likely some local tree farms or an outdoor market/mall that are pet friendly that you can explore. Stay safe and enjoy showing your dog some new scenery.
Since you probably have a few days off from work, take a few hours out of the day to go to a new park or beach. You can also sign up for an agility or obedience class. This is a great way to get your dog some exercise and also a great way to bond. Pick a class that fits your dog’s age and skill level.
Odds are your other pet-owning friends are also looking for some fun for their pups too. Give them a call and schedule some play time for your dogs. Set up an area in your home where your pups can freely play. While they enjoy getting all that pent up energy out, you and your friend can catch up!
Whatever you decide to do with your dog, make it fun and they will love it. Just make sure you keep up with your dog’s routine and get them their exercise. It can be easy to slack during the busy holidays, but your dog is counting on you for activity! Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!
